Our DFCM Chair, Dr. Michael Kidd, will share some of the highs and lows of his own career as a family medicine researcher, as well as highlighting his plans to grow family medicine research at the University of Toronto. He will share some of his own research contributions and outline ten golden rules for those commencing their careers as health and medical researchers.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for both new and experienced researchers, as well as residents, students and family doctors interested in research to meet the new DFCM Chair. The discussion will focus on the future direction of family medicine research at the University of Toronto.
DFCM City Wide Research Rounds are an accredited bimonthly, two-hour interactive event focusing on primary care research and research practices. Research Rounds are open to all Family Medicine / Community Medicine / Primary Care researchers, faculty, residents, students, and staff. Invited guest speakers will focus on research results, methodologies, and techniques; and the Research In Progress discussion will highlight new and exciting research.
