Application deadline for Temerty Medicine Research Excellence Award

The Temerty Medicine Research Excellence Award recognizes the research and accomplishments of early- to mid-career faculty members at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. New in 2025-2026: this year, we will be giving out four awards:

• One early-career researcher (years 1-6) and one mid-career researcher (years 7-12) in Clinical Sciences
• One early-career researcher (years 1-6) and one mid-career researcher (years 7-12) in Basic Sciences

Applicants must be faculty whose primary academic appointment is at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Formal leaves will be taken into account when determining early vs. mid-career, and extensions beyond the 12 year window. 

Each successful applicant will receive $5,000 (paid directly to the applicant) and support from the RHSE Office preparing their materials for an external award competition.

Deadlines:

Deadline for Expression of Interest and CV submission: Friday October 17th, 11:59 p.m.

A subset of competitive, eligible applicants will be invited to submit a full dossier by: Monday, December 1st, 11:59 p.m.
