The Food as Medicine Update series was created to address the knowledge-gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care. In this full day accredited symposium, healthcare professionals will learn about the latest pediatric and adult clinical practice guidelines and explore practical nutrition strategies for weight management. This group learning Continuing Medical Education activity is eligible for Mainpro+ and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada credits.
As part of the event, Dr. Michael Lean will be awarded the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of nutrition and health and the translation of this work into clinical practice.
