At the conclusion of this case-based webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify patients presenting to ER or family medicine clinic with alcohol use disorder and apply principles of harm reduction to patient care and management plans.
- Characterize stage of readiness for change for patient with alcohol use disorder and integrate evidence-based treatment into care plans
- Facilitate transition of care across clinical settings for patients presenting with AUD
- Identify and plan for anticipated barriers when starting to prescribe anti craving medications
