Understanding Endometriosis: Essential Tools for Primary Care Providers
Endometriosis is a common and often complex condition seen in primary care. Yet many patients experience years of symptoms before receiving a diagnosis, with significant impacts on their quality of life, daily functioning and overall well-being.
This session is designed specifically for primary care providers. This interactive educational event will walk through the full continuum of care, from recognizing early symptoms and initiating management to knowing when and how to refer for specialist and surgical care. Through patient stories and focused clinical discussions, participants will explore the key decision points that arise in everyday practice.
This session will strengthen clinical confidence, provide practical management strategies and introduce Sunnybrook’s Expedited Endometriosis (SEE) Clinic, supporting timely referral and coordinated, patient-centred care.
