SAVE THE DATE! Please join us for our Celebration of Education Scholarship event on Feb 6-7, 2020. There will be an evening reception and presentation on Thursday, February 6, and a full day of activities on Friday, February 7.

Focus on Person-Centred Care

Guest Speaker: Dr. Moira Stewart PhD, is a Distinguished University Professor Emeritus at the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine at Western University and formerly the Dr. Brian W. Gilbert Canada Research Chair in Primary Health Care Research (2003-2017). She has published widely on the topic of Patient-Centered Care and has edited, with colleagues, an international series of books applying the patient-centered clinical method. Dr. Stewart is Co-Principal Investigator of a CIHR Community-based Primary Health Care Team Grant on Patient-Centered Innovations for Persons with Multimorbidity.

These events, presented by the DFCM Office of Education scholarship, are designed to help faculty members envision, plan and execute education scholarship. Come and be inspired, challenged, excited and encouraged.
