Job description:
Looking for a maternity leave locum from October 2024 to October 2025 (12-13 months, some flexibility in dates).
Our clinic is part of the Mount Sinai Family Health Team located in Vaughan at Bathurst St and Rutherford Rd. I work with a really wonderful group of 9 physicians in a modern and beautiful facility, with spacious exam rooms and offices. We have an incredible team of 4 front desk staff, referral coordinator/billing agent, clinic manager, 2 nurses (who do all immunizations, ear flushing, wound dressings) , a nurse practitioner, clinical assistants (who takes vitals, rooms the patients), social worker, dietician, and Psychiatry consult on site - administrative and allied health support is amazing.
Imaging, bloodwork, audiology and cardiology access not affiliated with the practice is readily available down the hall.
My practice is approximately 800 patients, very well-managed. We use Telus PSS with access to the EMR offsite, and Ocean.
Time commitment is 4 or 5 half days per week (2-3 hours per half day) - days/hours are somewhat flexible. Every other Tuesday evening would be after hours clinic 5-7pm (same day pre booked, not walk-in). There is also an After-Hours Saturday morning clinic 9-12, once every 9 weeks (again same day pre-booked, not walk-in). No other on-call responsibilities. Opportunity to teach is available if you wish, but not mandatory.
Remuneration is hourly + 100% third party billings, for clinical time + some paid administrative time.
Pay: $120/hour
