IgFM is run by students and offers all kinds of learning and leadership opportunities to strengthen your studies. It’s great networking whether you want to meet other students or senior family medicine professionals and offers an exciting social atmosphere. Activities include mentoring, speaker events, clinical skills workshops, a journal club, as well as social opportunities.

Curious about a career focusing on women’s health or obstetrics? The Interest Group in Family Medicine (IgFM) and the ObGyn Interest Group (Ob/Gyn IG) are partnering to host Road to Women’s Health, a virtual panel discussing FM+1 and ObGyn programs! Join us on Wednesday, Jan 19th from 7 to 8:30pm to listen to 6 panelists discuss their journeys pursuing ObGyn and Family Medicine +1 programs in Women’s Health, Low-Risk Ob, and Breast Diseases! This is a great opportunity to learn more and get your questions answered!
