You will benefit from practical teaching workshops and the chance to connect with your fellow DFCM colleagues during this multi-day accredited orientation program for new faculty. Program content focuses on the skills and knowledge to help navigate common teaching situations successfully. You’ll also learn about the resources available to you through DFCM and how to use them in your career path.

The ideal candidate for this program is a newer teacher (less than 5 years of teaching experience) who is currently teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate medical learners. Health professional educators, primary care clinicians in focused practice and community-based teachers are welcome.
