Family Physician Position

The South East Toronto Family Health Team is a proud affiliate of the University of Toronto,

community teaching sites for residents and medical students, we are dedicated to fostering a dynamic and

Are you a passionate and committed family physician seeking a fulfilling career in academic family
medicine? We invite applications for a full-time academic family physician to take over an existing practice
(practice size of 600-800), starting in July or Sept of 2025. We welcome applications from current residents,
new graduates and experienced physicians who are eager to contribute to teaching and patient care.

Requirements:

  • MD degree and eligibility for certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
  • A valid license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
  • Ability to obtain hospital affiliation with Michael Garron Hospital within six months of hire.
  • Eligibility for a faculty appointment at the University of Toronto.
