Changing the Way We Work Community of Practice

Launched as the COVID-19 Community of Practice during the pandemic to support family physicians to keep up with guidance, respond to the changing environment and navigate uncertainty, this ongoing series has evolved to offer family physicians information and education from experts in policy, clinical practice, and practice management, as family medicine and primary care continue to experience rapid change.
Every 2 to 3 weeks, Changing the Way We Work offers family physicians across Ontario the opportunity to connect and learn from each other, encouraging participants to ask questions and share insights on practical ways to innovate and address challenges on the ground. Session topics are often selected based on attendee suggestions, and are highly interactive, with ample opportunity to ask questions of speakers. Each session is recorded and shared after the event along with the session slides, resources, and FAQ.
This Changing the Way We Work Community of Practice is a joint initiative from the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) and the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP).
The Changing the Way We Work Community of Practice for Ontario Family Physicians is a one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program that has been certified for up to a total of 32 credits.
