Research

UTOPIAN and Diabetes Action Canada (DAC) have partnered to launch #Data2SaveLives with the goal of raising awareness, both for patients and physicians, of the importance of contributing EMR data to the UTOPIAN Data Safe Haven, which in turn provides data to the National Diabetes Repository.

There will be two rounds of virtual presenations; the first on Wednesday, October 28th at 4pm hosted by UTOPIAN and the second on Wednesday, November 4 at 4pm hosted by DAC.

Presenters for November 4, 2020;

  • Alanna Weisman, "The impact of government-funded insulin pump programs on insulin pump use in Canada"
  • Neda Aminnejad, "Data 2 Defeat CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease)"

 We hope you will join us to learn about the benefits of contributing data to UTOPIAN and how that data can be analyszed to generate exciting research that increases our understanding of medical conditions and treatments, and ultimately improves health outcomes.

Please register here and a Zoom link will be forwarded to you.
