Deadline: CREMS Summer Research Program – Call for Project Submissions

The Comprehensive Research Experience for Medical Students (CREMS) Summer Research Program is now accepting faculty submissions for Summer 2027 until October 26, 2026. A detailed description of the program can be found on the CREMS Summer Research Program Website. 

If you are seeking matched funding for your project from the Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM), you must complete the attached CREMs application and submit your proposed research project to dfcm.clerkship@utoronto.ca by 5 PM on Friday, October 9, 2026. You will be notified by Friday, October 16, 2026 whether or not your project has been chosen for matched funding. It is a very competitive process and there is limited funding for projects through the DFCM each year. This means that only a minority of applications will be accepted for matched funding by the DFCM. If your project is not chosen for matched funding, we encourage you to seek funding through other means.
