META:PHI Virtual Conference 2025
Join us for two days of interactive, online learning and discussion focused on advancing care for people who use substances. Of interest to prescribers, counsellors, peers, community workers, administrators, researchers, learners and advocates, this year’s theme is Substance Use Health is Community Health.
In addition to 1 hour sessions, the agenda includes:
- Keynote speakers epidemiologist Daniel Werb, speaking on the current drug policy landscape in Ontario; and Indigenous health changemaker Dr. Esther Tailfeathers, speaking on community strategies to address the drug poisoning crisis
- Panel discussion on connecting peer support and community
- Workshops on community-driven integrated care with PWUD; and an introduction to dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
- 15 minute ‘Snapshots’
To encourage an interactive experience there will be local hubs for viewing the conference with others. Deadline to sign up for a hub is March 12.
