Webinar: Canadian Guidelines for Post COVID-19 Condition - Prevention

This event is hosted by McMaster University.

Post COVID-19 Condition (PCC), or long COVID is a complex and debilitating condition that continues to impact millions of Canadians. As research is emerging, urgent evidence-based guidance is needed to support health professionals, policymakers, and patients. To address this need, together with 80+ researchers, health professionals, economists and patients with lived experience, Cochrane Canada and the MacGRADE Centre are developing the Canadian Guidelines for Post COVID-19 Condition (CAN-PCC).

Join us for an engaging webinar featuring Drs. Jessica Hopkins and Thomas Piggott, co-chairs of the Prevention Guideline Team. Dr. Christopher Maddison, our CAN-PCC patient representative, will also share his experience and involvement in the project.

The objectives of this webinar are to:

• Describe the impact of PCC and the role of prevention.
• Explain the methods used for the CAN-PCC project.
• Share evidence-based recommendations for the prevention of PCC.
• Discuss how the recommendations can be incorporated into practice.

There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the presentation. Join us for our webinar on Tuesday, February 4th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM EST
