Dr. Finkelstein is trained in physics and medicine. He was employed for 30 years as an occupational and environmental epidemiologist with the Ontario Ministry of Labor. He has conducted health services research using patients of the Department of Family and Community Medicine as research subjects.
Research Synopsis
Dr Finkelstein conducts research in the areas of: 1) occupational health, including exposures to dusts, fumes, and chemicals; environmental health, including the health effects of air pollution; and, health services research making use of linked databases.
