Wawa is a small Northern Ontario town located 240km west of Sault Ste. Marie, on the north shore of Lake Superior. The Lady Dunn Health Centre is a 28 bed hospital with 10 acute, 2 respite, and 16 LTC beds. The 4 room ED is well stocked with POCUS, CMAC, GlideScope, and is well supported by NP and RN care, access to OH ED Peer to Peer and VCC. The Wawa FHT includes a complement of 7 physicians (4 FT, locum coverage for 3), 2 NPs, RNs, CDE, RD, SW, and PT.
