Description of Organization
We are a FHT of 18 physicians who work with a team of allied health professionals to provide our patients with comprehensive patient-centred care. These include a pharmacist, a dietitian, social workers (who do case management and short-term psychotherapy), and a consulting psychiatrist. We also have a diabetes education program with its own nurses and dietitians. Taddle Creek FHT is composed of five offices: three at Bay and College and two at Bloor and Christie. As a FHT, we also have an Executive Director and dedicated FHT admin staff.
Job description:
Looking for a family doctor to join the wonderful Taddle Creek FHT in downtown Toronto/Annex neighbourhood at Bloor and Christie.
You can bring your existing practice or build up a practice to suit your needs and work-life balance - there are many patients in the community looking for a family doctor. You would have your own good-sized office/exam room and be able to set the hours that suit you.
We are an office of two collaborative and enthusiastic family doctors looking for a 3rd physician to join us. We also work with an experienced full-time NP and have access to an RN. Our administrative staff are excellent and have been with us long-term. We are located steps from Christie subway, and have labs and imaging in the building. Our EMR is Telus PS Suite. Overhead costs, including administrative support, is shared equally among the partnership (approximately 26% of gross income). We also co-manage the practice so that we can run the office to our practice preferences.
We have access to a pool of locums for hire.
After hours coverage one in every three Tuesdays and 3-4 weekends/year (Friday night and Saturday clinics)
