Toronto West Medical is a collaborative group Family Medicine clinic in West Toronto / South Etobicoke, near The Queensway and Parklawn.
It is part of the MetroWest FHO and in the St Joseph's Health Centre/Unity Health Toronto area. Clean and efficient work space prioritizing work flow for both patient and physician experience, with use of two exam rooms for clinical work. There is a group charting room to support collaboration with colleagues.
Job description:
Take over a well managed full scope Family Medicine practice with 720 rostered and 120 non-rostered patients.
Opportunity to grow the practice. Many families and children, and procedure opportunities if interested (mole removals, IUD and Implant insertions, endometrial biopsies). Supportive clinical assistants help manage patient flow, vitals, measurements and immunizations.
As part of the MetroWest FHO (group of 29 physicians), you would provide After Hours Clinic coverage about 1-2 shifts per month on average. Flexibility in creating your schedule, I have been working in the clinic M/W/F and remotely for virtual appointments one morning per week.
Remote log in available, EMR is Telus PS Suites.
Competitive overhead at 30%.
Length of term: permanent, 3-3.5 clinical days per week (flexible)
