Village Family Health Team in Liberty Village is seeking a family physician to take over the practice of one of our departing physicians. We are a vibrant, close-knit, supportive group of doctors. We are supported by a well-resourced Family Health Team, so easy access to allied health professionals. We have a modern clinic, incorporating new technologies like AI scribes, secure patient messaging.
Job Description:
Assume a current roster of 620 patients. Most of these patients have been with our clinic for over 10 years, so they are very familiar with our policies/procedures and very loyal to the clinic.
Comprehensive family practice including children, early prenatal care, mental health and some seniors. Lots of families and urban professionals!
Capitated model of compensation with competitive rate of overhead
Support from a FHO of 12 family physicians. We are a tight and supportive group!
Interdisciplinary team-based care including OHIP-covered access for your patients to social work, nursing, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, dietician, chiropedist, and physiotherapy.
Complete flexibility – take on more patients and expand the roster, incorporate a special interest or focused-practice element, or keep the roster small allowing you to work elsewhere and/or work part-time – your choice!
Start anytime. The practice is currently well cared-for by a locum physician. The successful candidate could start working immediately, or as late as July 2025.
