Job description:
The South East Toronto Family Health Team (SETFHT), a dynamic academic family health team located in the East York area of Toronto, is extending an invitation for locum physicians. With a team of 25 physicians, we provide services to approximately 20,000 patients and operate as an academic teaching unit affiliated with the University of Toronto's Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM).
For the summer months of July and August 2024, we are in need of locums to offer vacation coverage at our two sites: 840 Coxwell Avenue and 1871 Danforth Avenue.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The locum positions involve clinical duties ranging between 4 to 8 half-days each week.
You will also be expected to provide clinical support to our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners and registered nurses.
Opportunities for weekend clinic hours are available for those interested.
Compensation:
Compensation is $500 per half-day clinic, in addition to out-of-basket/third-party billings.
Clinics are scheduled as morning (9 AM - 12 PM), afternoon (1 PM - 4 PM), or evening (5 PM - 8 PM).
Inbox coverage will be compensated by an additional stipend ($500/week for each inbox coverage).
