The MedMall Clinic (MedMall 414 Practice Inc.) is located in suite 414 of the Medical Mall, which is adjacent to and owned by the Scarborough General Hospital, and across from new Subway Stn. (Lawrence & McCowan). Newly renovated, spacious, fully equipped, paperless clinic has 6+1 spacious examination rooms and houses 2 family FHO doctors and several specialists. All exam rooms and front desk have a large window, ample storage and newly installed all-in-one computers with dedicated printers that use Accuro EMR. Your team will consist of a full time dedicated Admin who is certified & experienced in injections & ear syringing, a part-time virtual office manager, continuous 24/7 Bluebird IT support with Cyber-security, and DoctorCare Consulting services. Practice is 35+ years old, consisting of very loyal patients who range in age from infancy to nanogenarians. Retiring physician practices comprehensive office-based family medicine.
Job description:
Long-term, Part-time (1-2 days per week) locum is needed for gradually retiring Family Physician in a 5-member FHO. Retiring physician aims to retire on or before June 30, 2026. FHO position will be available to the locum when physician retires. One additional FHO spot is also available for an already practising physician who wishes to join a FHO. Free income analysis is available from DoctorCare for all physicians looking to join our FHO. Retiring physician provides 3 hours of after-hours weekday care per week, and an additional 3 hours of after-hours weekend care every 5th weekend. After hours care by locum is optional and work schedule is very flexible. Free Accuro EMR training is available online, plus on-site support from retiring physician and her staff. Medical records are pristine. Environment is very friendly, collegial and highly supportive. This is an excellent opportunity to try out a practice first before taking it over along with coveted FHO position in the heart of Scarborough.
Required qualifications: Family Medicine Residency with CCFP
Hourly/half-day rate: $130.00 per hour + 100% of (WSIB, Private Services, Forms etc.) + 100% of all shadow billings on rostered patients with direct deposit
