Maternity Leave Locum Position in Midtown Toronto

Description of Organization: 

I am looking for a locum to cover my practice during my maternity leave. This is a lovely, well established practice with a wide spectrum of patients. The office is shared with 4 other family physicians, and support staff includes 1 full time nurse and 2 full time receptionists. This would be a great opportunity for a new graduate looking to gain experience in a supportive clinical environment.

Job description:

• Location: Yonge & Eglington, Toronto
• Start Date: early September 2025 (flexible)
• Duration: 6 months + (flexible)
• Practice Type: FHO
• Roster size: ~550
• Coverage Required: 4 half days per week over 3 weekdays (flexible) including 1 or 2 evening clinics per month, possibly 1 Saturday.
• EMR: Telus PSS
• Vacation: willing to negotiate paid vacation time depending on the length of coverage

Compensation: My full pay (post-overhead capitation + FFS/shadow billing/3rd party) which amounts to $500+ per half day

Required qualifications:

• CCFP Designation
• CPSO Registration
• CMPA Coverage
• Updated CV
