Looking for one locum ideally to start ASAP and flexible length of time. Our office is located inside Bayview Village Mall (2901 Bayview Ave), TTC accessible (Bayview station), and free parking. Extra perks: FHO is part of FHT. We have an on-site full time nurse who works directly with each physician 4 days per week where she takes vitals, does injections, smoking cessation, wound care, relays results via phone to patients, and obtains histories for your physicals. We also have access to SW, dietician, pharmacist, chiropodist. The practice is shared with two very friendly and helpful doctors. This is an ideal clinic for new grads to ease into practice.
Job description:
Roster size ~600 patients, well-managed, varied population but skews slightly geriatric. The physician is planning to semi-retire and wants a locum to look after 600 of his patients while he still works in office, so he is there to help you and answer questions.
Time commitment: 3-4 half days a week spread amongst 3 days. 9-1pm or 2-5pm.
$550/half day and 100% shadow billing and 100% third party billings
Required qualifications:
A valid Certificate of Registration from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
A current Certificate of Professional Conduct from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Membership in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
An active Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) billing number and billing privileges
