We are currently expanding our services and seeking an enthusiastic family physician to help build a new practice, focusing on deepening our engagement with Black-identified community members and youth.

Davenport-Pert Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre (DPNCHC) provides programs and services to diverse participants who are marginalized due to socioeconomic barriers.
As a multi-service community agency, we prioritize community development and health promotion. Our Health Centre is a dynamic and complex practice where a multidisciplinary team of nurses, nurse practitioners, counsellor/therapists, a dietitian, and a physiotherapist collaborate to deliver holistic care.

Start date: ASAP.
Salary Range: $267,576 - $292,365 per annum, pro-rated to FTE with potential membership in Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and the extended health benefits plan (determined by the total number of hours worked/week). This position is not part of the bargaining unit.

Required qualifications
- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Physicians of Ontario
- CCFP certification preferred
- Membership with any of the following organizations is an asset:
- Black Healthcare Professionals Network
- Black Health Alliance
- Black Physicians Association of Ontario
- Black Physicians of Canada
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a community-based organization with diverse cultures
- Strong commitment to community-based health-care delivery
- Sensitivity and understanding when working with high-need populations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary health care team
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
- Some evening hours will be required
