Dr. Stephanie Zhou is the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program Director in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of CPD offerings that are responsive to the needs of patients and communities and supports primary care providers in integrating practice changes that improve patient care and outcomes. She is an Assistant Professor in DFCM and Clinical Director of Addictions Medicine and Department Lead in EDI & Social Accountability at Sunnybrook Hospital.
She practices family medicine at Don Mills FHT, where she is also the FHO Lead. She has extensive experience in developing CPD as the founder of the Canadian Physicians Financial Wellness Conference, chairing the OCFP Practicing Well Community of Practice, and co-developing the Diversity Mentorship Program at Temerty Medicine. In addition, Dr. Zhou has expertise in developing digital and multimedia educational content through her Youtube channel, Breaking Bad Debt, translating complex financial and practice management topics into engaging, accessible learning resources.
