In addition to the breadth of faculty development within DFCM, we also have several partnerships within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine that our faculty may access.
The Centre for Faculty Development (CFD) is a partnership between Unity Health and the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. They provide flexible and adaptable programming that is responsive to emerging needs, facilitates communities and networking, and supports capacity building across the health professions education system.
The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) offers a variety of opportunities to help medical educators prepare for their teaching roles in the MD (Undergraduate) Program at the University of Toronto. This includes support for tutors or seminar leaders in the Foundations Curriculum (1st and 2nd year), preceptors who teach in the hospital and/or community settings in the Clerkship curriculum (3rd year and 4th year), as well as general teaching skills development for both new and seasoned teachers.
