Trillium-Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU)

FMTU is located at 101 Queensway West (Hurontario and Queensway), 7th Floor, Mississauga, Ontario, L5B 2P7.

All community offices are within walking distance from the hospital or accessible by public transport.

Special Features of Site

Many of our community offices are Family Health Teams (FHTs) where you may have an opportunity to work with or learn from a palliative care specialist, psychiatrist, pharmacist, social worker, dietitian, psychologist, nurse practitioner or health promotion specialist.

Mandatory Experience

Clerkship Electives/Selectives

Two half days per rotation.

All students will participate in selectives at the Diabetes Education Centre at the Mississauga Hospital and the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program clinic at the Queensway Health Center.
