Global Health Learning Network

This event is hosted by the University of Ottawa, Bruyère Research Institute and the WHO.

Join us on December 14 from 1-2pm for a Global Health Learning Network hybrid event moderated by Dr. David Ponka.

The topic is: Capacity building for education and scholarship in family medicine and primary care. The importance of co-learning and global cooperation. 

This event will be held in a hybrid setting, attendees are welcome to attend in-person at the University of Ottawa, Roger Guindon Hall (RGN) room 1007 or virtually through Zoom using this link

The learning objectives of the Global Health Learning Network are:

  • To enhance knowledge and understanding of key global health issues
  • To engage in discussions on key global health topics
  • To network with experts and peers working and studying in the field of global health

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Lala Soavina Ramarozatovo, Dermatology and Internal Medicine Specialist and Researcher, Vice Dean at the Faculty of Medicine, Madagascar 
  • Dr. Trinidad Rodriguez Infante, Family Physician and Researcher, Clinical Assistant Professor at Catholic University, Chile and Ancora UC Health Innovation Unit
