Description of Organization
The practice has 800 patients. It is a very laid-back, fun and collegial clinic. There is free parking and about a 15-minute walk from Leslie TTC subway station.
We use PSS with remote access. There are colleagues in the office able to answer questions and we have support staff for vaccinations, vitals and measurements. An existing NP covers a half-day per week but she’s independent, only asking for advice occasionally
Job description:
I am looking for about 3 half-days a week of clinic plus inbox management. There are no required after-hours clinic shifts.
Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an asset.
Additionally though not required, I would also be happy to discuss coverage for LTC work in Stouffville for the same dates if interested.
Hourly/half-day rate: The pay will be $300 per half-day AND keep 70% of OHIP billings (FHO+ direct care, indirect care, out-of-basket, shadow billings etc.) and 70% of third party billings. With the FHO+ hourly codes, I estimate this to be about $525 per half-day before out-of-basket, shadow or third party billings.
Required qualifications
Fully-qualified family physician with active CPSO, CMPA and CCFP.
