Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is located in Scarborough just east of Toronto, with a population of approximately 600,000. Scarborough is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the world, and has been called the “ideal gateway community” for new Canadian immigrants. The majority of our family medicine community-based preceptors practice here. We also have preceptors in the nearby community of Pickering, Ajax, Markham, and Bowmanville.
