Job description:
Seeking a locum family physician to cover maternity leave beginning no later than mid-August 2026, with an anticipated duration of 12 months.
Hourly/half-day rate:
Half-day payment top-up to $550/half-day (under FHO+), plus 70% of all third-party, FFS, out-of-basket and shadow billings.
Practice Details:
Approximately 1,100 rostered patients
Broad patient demographic with full-scope family medicine
Strong continuity-based practice within a FHO model
Clinic support includes administrative staff and nursing support
Schedule:
4 in-person half days + 2 virtual half days per week
Flexible scheduling may be discussed
Required qualifications:
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent
Eligible to bill Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP)
Comfortable providing comprehensive, full-scope family medicine
Experience with EMRs (PS Suite preferred but not required)
