Application Deadline: Mentor 2 Mentor

The Mentor 2 Mentor (M2M) program is now accepting applications for the 2026 cohort. M2M is a capacity-building initiative for Principal Investigators. This workshop series is designed to build Principal Investigator fluency in supporting learners underrepresented in STEMM, and to engage in the development of actionable strategies to create inclusive lab spaces. Program goals:

• Develop skills necessary to support learners underrepresented in STEMM
• Engage in the development of actionable strategies to create inclusive lab spaces

Session content:

1. Introduction to Logic Models
2. General approaches to maximizing opportunities for learners
3. Modelling successful apprentice relationships
4. Strategies to facilitate sponsorship of learners underrepresented in STEMM
5. Building a research culture of safety, inclusion, and equity
6. Tips on funding your EDIIA initiatives
7. Identifying more EDIIA-enabling actions
8. Building a supportive community of practice
