Applied Mindfulness Program for Medical Personnel (AMP-MP)

This event is hosted by The Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s Office of Clinical and Faculty Affairs.

We are pleased to invite you to join us for a special training program and research study on the Applied Mindfulness Program for Medical Personnel (AMP-MP) for physicians who work with, or are members of, underserved communities. 

This training is part of our work exploring how to best support physicians* across the many challenges they face in their roles as care providers. More information are in the attached PDF below.

  • Dates: Every Tuesday from November 5 – December 3, 2024
  • Times: (select your preferred option when you register, full meal provided during session) 
    • Group A: 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
    • Group B: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Sessions:
    • Session 1: In-person (November 5, 2024)
    • Session 2: In-person (November 12, 2024)
    • Session 3: Hybrid - In-person/Zoom (November 19, 2024)
    • Session 4: Hybrid - In-person/Zoom (November 26, 2024)

* This program/research study has been funded through a grant from the Ontario Medical Foundation to research physician burnout/wellness. Therefore, registration for this study is limited to physicians. We plan to expand this offering in the future to include clinicians, scientists and researchers from across the Faculty, including status-only faculty members.
