Senior Promotion Workshop

The DFCM is hosting this workshop for faculty who are interested in applying for a senior promotion to the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor. Whether you plan to apply in the upcoming year or sometime in the future, this workshop will help you prepare. This workshop will be held virtually via Zoom.

DFCM faculty at the rank of assistant professor or associate professor are invited to attend. DFCM hospital or administrative staff who may be assisting candidates with the process are also welcome to attend.

• This workshop provides an overview of the criteria, steps, and timeline for senior promotion, and assists candidates who want to prepare a pre-application
• Candidates will identify areas of excellence/competence in each of the 4 categories (research, CPA, teaching & education, and administrative service)
• Faculty advisors will be present for breakout room consultations
• Candidates should meet with their Chief/Division Head and DPC Chair, Dr. Jeff Kwong
• Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a zoom link by email closer to the date of the session
