Research Summary:

Dr. Noah Ivers is a Family Physician at Women's College Hospital, Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, and Canada Research Chair in Implementation of Evidence-Based Practice. His research focuses on improving the quality, effectiveness, and implementation of primary care through learning health systems, implementation science, audit and feedback, and pragmatic clinical trials. He leads multidisciplinary research that evaluates strategies to translate evidence into routine clinical practice, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and health system performance. His work spans primary care transformation, chronic disease management, virtual care, quality improvement, and health policy, and is conducted in close partnership with clinicians, patients, health system leaders, and policymakers. Dr. Ivers has led numerous CIHR-funded research initiatives and collaborates nationally and internationally to develop and evaluate interventions that strengthen healthcare delivery. His research aims to generate practical evidence that supports more effective, equitable, and sustainable health systems.
