Women's College Academic Family Health Team - Join our fantastic group as a comprehensive family medicine locum for the Women’s College Academic FHT. We are a collegial and nurturing group of 40 physicians, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. Our FHT physicians work alongside and are well supported by primary care nurses, nurse practitioners, and a full range of allied health professionals and specialist physician colleagues. Our family practice unit is growing, and there may be upcoming opportunities to join the practice as a FHO signatory once the locum is complete. Job description:
7 month maternity leave locum, April - November 2026.
Provide comprehensive family medicine to a well-run roster of 600 patients spread over 4 half-days per week. Each half-day is 3 hours of clinical work.
No after-hours responsibilities or work on weekends or statutory holidays. Vacations are negotiable and flexible with advance notice.
Our EMR is Telus PSS Suite. We also use Mutuo AutoScribe and OCEAN e-communication.
No required teaching obligations, but opportunities exist to work with medical students and residents if interested.
Potential for additional locum work within the practice if interested
Hourly/half-day rate:$550 per half day (4 hours = 3 clinical hours and 1 admin hour) plus third-party billings. FHO plus funds will be added to the locum stipend once details finalized.
