Family physician vacancy for a full-time practice in beautiful Port Hope, On - located 1 hour east of Toronto. The Port Hope Medical Centre offers the following on-site services: dental, pharmacy, Dynacare lab, Bluewater Imaging, counselling, Hearing for Life, Ophthalmology, and soon to have dermatology with laser therapy. This is a Family Heath Organization (FHO) solo practice with 9 other family physicians. Approximately 1300 rostered patients with room for growth if desired. Current hours of operation are Mon to Thurs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fri 9 a.m. to 12 noon. After hours care coverage approximately 3 weekends per year (a.m. only x 3 hours) and one evening shift every 2 weeks 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. . Turnkey operation with all equipment in place, monetary incentive to relocate offered from West Northumberland Recruitment at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg. Hospital is 10 km from our office, highway 401 ramp less than 5 minutes away. Current low rent lease also negotiable for subletting. Option to join other doctors in our FHO group and share office space and front staff. Current medical office manager willing to discuss employment options to continue billing and reconciliation of monthly ohip payments. Great opportunity for new graduates looking to work independently or a seasoned physician wishing to relocate. Trinity College School is a 5 minute walk from current office. Our FHO group is currently with Telus Health Electronic Medical Records.
Job Description:
Full time family physician to resume the care of an already established practice for upcoming retirement. Responsible for the daily care of patients well being. Optional in-patient, long term care, obstetrics, etc at your discretion.
Approximately 1300 Rostered patients. Income to be discussed.

Education: Doctor of Medicine
License: CCFP College of Family Physician Certificate
Licensure by Provincial or Territorial Authorities/Medical Council of Canada
