Mimico Medical is seeking a Locum Family Physician to provide maternity leave coverage within our collaborative Family Health Organization (FHO) in Etobicoke. The locum physician will deliver comprehensive primary care to an established patient roster, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management. The role is fully supported by experienced administrative staff and allied health professionals, ensuring continuity of care in a well-established community practice.
Hourly/half-day rate:$1000 per day
Required qualifications: MD degree from an accredited medical school
Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP)
Eligible for or holding independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
Eligible for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Experience providing comprehensive primary care across the lifespan
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
