Don Mills Family Health Team is a resident teaching site at Don Mills & Eglinton, accessible by LRT. We provide lots of administrative supports including: Referrals navigator who sends all the referrals for you which helps if pts have specific requests about language or gender of specialists, NPx3, Social Worker, Occupational therapist, RN who does Rourkes, vaccines, vitals etc, personal secretary, AI scribe.
Teaching: We are a teaching clinic, if you're looking for an adjunct faculty position or want to have a resident this is an option.
Job description:
This is a good job for a new grad or a retiring doctor who will practice alongside me for 1 day/ week while I work the other day. The roster size is manageable, only 700 patients. You will only be responsible for inbox only on the day you're working. As I will be working during the same week, there are plenty of supports for clinical questions, billing questions or practice efficiency support (similar to having a staff physician to review and double check things with like in residency).
Remuneration will be based on a minimum $500/half day inclusive of the FHO+ billing of $80/h + 3rd party + shadow billing.
Hourly/half-day rate:$500/half day minimum inclusive of FHO+ hourly billing + third party + shadow billing
Required qualifications: Having a CCFP is required. Being able to speak Mandarin would be helpful but not mandatory!
