Taddle Creek Family Health Team - Suite 300, 790 Bay Street, Toronto ON M5G 1N8
- This is one office of the five that are part of the Taddle Creek Family Health Team.
- 4 physicians in this office with 1 RN (onsite, in our office, 3 days per week (Tue,Thurs, Fri) and 1 day remote (Wed)), 1 PA (onsite, in our office, 1 half day a week (Mon AM)), 2 onsite admin staff and 2 offsite admin staff
- access to NPs, Diabetes nurses, educators, social workers (for mental health and case management), pharmacists and dietitians through the FHT
- approximately 1000 patient practice - mostly middle-aged women but there are quite a few teens and babies as well
- Comprehensive Family Medicine, including women's health (e.g. family planning, contraception, early prenatal care, menopause care, etc.), trans care (e.g. assessing for gender dysphoria, prescribing hormone therapy and acting as assessor for gender affirming surgical procedures), procedures (e.g. IUD & Nexplanon insertions, Endometrial biopsies, Skin biopsies, cosmetic Liquid Nitrogen and mole/cyst excisions), mental health counselling and home visits
- Procedures, formal counselling and home visits are not mandatory for this locum, as these types of appointments can be held for the resident physician's return, if you prefer
- Telus PS Suite EMR with secure messaging via Pomelo
- Apple computers throughout the office, hard wired and wifi enabled
Job description:
- In office clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm (1h lunch from 1-2pm)
- Inbox coverage for the entire duration of the locum
- patients seen every 15mins with 30mins for PHE, mental health appts, procedures (mole excisions/skin biopsies, Nexplanon insertion +/- removal, IUD Insertion +/- removal, Endometrial biopsies) and Well-baby visits on days when there is no RN or PA assistance.
Compensation: $260/3h in office clinic + $80/h FHO+ hourly rate (according to how you bill these hours) + $100/d Inbox management (Max $500/week) + 100% Shadow Billings
Required qualifications:
- CPSO License
- CMPA Coverage
- Good standing with CFPC
